ISOCELL is produced in Styria (A) in one of the most modern plants in Europe. This not only influences the quality of the cellulose but is also energy saving and environmentally friendly.
Only newspaper is used for the production of ISOCELL cellulose fibre.
The pre-sorted newspaper is first broken up in a shredder and then run through the so-called eddy current mill that breaks up the paper to its fibre structure.
The fibre structure is an important characteristic of ISOCELL. Only long fibres guarantee the best possible compaction and sure settling.
To protect ISOCELL cellulose fibre from fire, mould, insects or vermin, it is impregnated with mineral salt.
Mineral salt is a natrual mineral, harmless to humans and the environment. Small amounts are found, for example, in foodstuffs as well as in solutions for contact lenses.
ISOCELL is packed in bags of approx. 12,5kg and stacked on Europa pallets of 21 bags. ISOCELL is delivered directly from the plant in Hartberg to the ISOCELL dealer.
